Clinic Description

We know that each patient is an individual with unique needs. The staff at FHR works very hard to develop treatment programs that are safe, progressive and educational. Your therapist will design a plan based on information provided by your referring physician and by you during your evaluation. Our therapists spend an hour with you on the first visit and at least thirty minutes on subsequent visits.

Clinic Profile

We believe that physical therapy should be an active process, not a passive one. We use passive modalities only to assist our progressive exercise programs. Our programs focus on improvement of muscle control and stability with the ultimate goal of returning you to your prior level of activity. Our physical therapy treatment plans usually consist of treatment two to three times a week. With reevaluations every four weeks, up-to-date information is regularly sent to your physician for review and comment. On average, a physical therapy program lasts four to eight weeks, or until you reach a stable phase. Once you have completed the program, we encourage an on-going independent exercise program. We also offer a post rehabilitation program which allows our clients to return to the clinic and continue working with one of our rehabilitation technicians on a one-on-one basis. This gives you the opportunity to maintain your condition and continually improve.
